Rishab Shetty’s Kantara: Chapter 1 English Version Set for Worldwide Release on October 31

Here comes the good news for Kantara: Chapter 1 lovers! The star of the Kannada film industry, Rishab Shetty, has revealed that the English-dubbed version of his mythical film will be released in theatres all over the world on 31st October 2025. The movie was initially released on 2nd October 2025 and it reached the peak of box office collections almost immediately.

Rishab Shetty went to X (formerly known as Twitter) and published the official poster for the English version's release, with the following accompanying text:

"This is a holy tale that transcends territories and dialects! Kantara: Chapter 1 English Version will be out in cinemas worldwide from 31st October. Come, see the great tale of faith, culture, and devotion with your own eyes, in all its glory!"

The English rendition is 2 hours 14 minutes and 45 seconds long. The movie has raked in Rs 535.15 crore in only 20 days, thus confirming its blockbuster status. Besides Rishab Shetty, other well-known actors in the cast include Jayaram, Rukmini Vasanth, and Gulshan Devaiah.

Behind the Scenes: Rishab Shetty Reveals the Climax Scene Shoot

On October 13, Rishab Shetty provided details of the physically taxing climax shoot, indicating swollen legs and tiredness. He expressed his gratitude to his supporters and attributed the film's success to divine power, posting on Instagram:

"This was during the climax part of the shoot, my leg was swollen, my body was exhausted... but today, the climax has become something that millions see and appreciate. Thank you very much everyone who has been with us."

OTT Release
